First, they take up no physical space so there are no worries about where to store them. The ability to zoom in to see details is a wonderful advantage. The scope of Robinson&#8217;s work: painting, sculpture, textiles, book art, illustrations, mosaics, and on and on and on&#8230; is remarkable. A few more I&#8217;ve been learning about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bisabutler.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bisa Butler<\/a> &#8211; Dynamic\u00a0portraits in cloth that tell the story &#8211; the African American side &#8211; of the American life<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgiarowswell.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia Rowswell<\/a> &#8211; A mixed-media artist whose environmentally conscious work celebrates the beauty of the Wyoming landscape. Her website alerted me to the documentary <a href=\"https:\/\/truecostmovie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The True Cost<\/a>,\u00a0a stirring commentary on the human and environmental after-effects of fast fashion.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/duckduckgo.com\/?t=ffab&amp;q=suzan+Frecon&amp;iax=images&amp;ia=images\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Suzan Frecon<\/a> &#8211; Color is her driving force. Her approach, unlike Robinson&#8217;s, is that art should not need the embellishment of story; that it has the singular purpose of speaking for itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">\u2756<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And finally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.svac.org\/class\/unmasked\/?wcs_timestamp=1610791200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Unmasked: Artful Responses to the Pandemic<\/em><\/strong><\/a> opens this coming Saturday at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, VT.
