She&#8217;s\u00a0been reading lately about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z0mqaTOu1e4\" target=\"_blank\">Fran\u00e7oise Gilot<\/a>, 95 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0RMna9YNYFA\" target=\"_blank\">Carmen Herrera<\/a>, 101, two artists who have proven that making art can be a life-long endeavor. The above links lead to wonderful interviews that will inspire you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;ve been doing a bit of research since she brought up the idea, and have been heartened by what I&#8217;ve found.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check out Hilarie M. Sheets&#8217; 2013 article for ARTnews,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artnews.com\/2013\/05\/20\/making-art-after-8\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;You Become Better With Age&#8217;<\/a>,\u00a0for\u00a0a discussion\u00a0about many artists, past and present, who didn&#8217;t \/ haven&#8217;t allowed age to thwart their practice.
