Seeing the series I&#8217;ve been chipping away on for the past 2-1\/2 years, framed and then considerately organized in context by a skillful curator, is icing on the cake to the joy of making the work in the first place. The protagonists of Elizabeth Strout&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elizabethstrout.com\/books\/oh-william\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oh William!<\/a>, Elizabeth O&#8217;Connor&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2024\/05\/16\/1250911969\/elizabeth-oconnor-whale-fall-book-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Whale Fall<\/a> and Sarah Winman&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/670069\/still-life-a-gma-book-club-pick-by-sarah-winman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Still Life<\/a>, all immersed in navigating life, persist and, each in her own way, triumph.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let&#8217;s get philosophical for a moment.
