The Mus\u00e9e des M\u00e9tiers d&#8217;Art du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> (Qu\u00e9bec Museum of Crafts). <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mumaq.com\/en\/expositions\/de-fil-et-de-papier-ang-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De Fin et De Papier (Thread and Paper)<\/a><\/em> is an invitational show, curated by paper artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mariejosegustave.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marie-Jos\u00e9 Gustave<\/a>; I haven&#8217;t ever seen stitching on paper used to such effect&#8230;wonderful!<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you go, be sure to allow time to take in the permanent collection as well. I realize it&#8217;s a bit ironic leaving rural Vermont, heading to the city and then spending a chunk of time wandering through gardens, but that&#8217;s who we are. But what struck me most this visit, despite the flagging fall blooms, was the thoughtful and diverse color combinations that are still vibrant. It was a one-day event, but you can stream the film through Amazon, Apple TV or Google Play Movies for $2.99.
